Insurance companies now legally pay less to a woman who is injured at work than to a man… for the same injury.

The Governor and the workers compensation insurance companies wrote a “reform” law that treats women as the “weaker sex”… paying them less than they pay men.

Injured Women After Reform is fighting to repeal that law… because Women are stronger than Schwarzenegger thinks.

Governor Schwarzenegger signed into law a bill that discriminates against injured women because of their gender. He has refused to change it.

We believe that the Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown would not support such discrimination!  Meg Whitman needs an education on workers’ compensation!

iWAR – Injured Women After Reform – was founded by women lawyers and the injured women they represent.  The California Applicants Attorneys will use all proceeds from “iWar on eBay” to fight gender discrimination and elect political leaders committed to “equality” under the law.

In 2008 a bill passed by the Legislature would have eliminated this discrimination against women in the workplace.  The Governor vetoed the bill.

IWAR is not the only advocate for working Californians who is concerned about Meg Whitman’s views.
